FAQ

Questions and Answers about Silk Screen Printing Frames
  • Depending on the desired motif size, wooden or aluminum frames with 43T mesh, 54T or 64T are suitable. For black shirts, 43T is better. Good all-rounder = 54T.

  • A screen printing frame can last forever. Several hundred prints can be made without any problems.

  • Yes, depending on whether the frame is made of aluminum or wood, the screen printing mesh will be re-stretched accordingly. The wooden frame is easy to stretch by hand. For aluminum frames, a stretching device is required, and the mesh is glued onto it.

  • For this purpose, a stencil remover liquid is used. This removes the exposed stencil from the screen.
