DIY wooden screen printing frame (EU production)

Sustainably manufactured, quick to assemble and ready to use immediately: The wooden strips can be easily slotted together without tools, and you simply stretch the included screen fabric onto the frame yourself. The usable printing area corresponds to A4+ – slightly larger than A4 – and offers convenient border zones for masking , positioning, and testing.

Select the appropriate fabric

Simply select the desired fabric type in this product variant. Basic rule:

• 54T – ideal for textile printing (opaque ink application, good for cotton & blended fabrics)

• 77T – recommended for paper & cardboard (finer print image, lower ink coverage)

Tip:

• 54T is suitable for opaque designs, larger areas and medium to coarse details.

• 77T is the better choice for fine lines, poster prints and coated papers because less ink passes through.

Scope of delivery

• Plug-in wooden frame (kit)

• Cut-to-size screen fabric (54T or 77T depending on selection)

• Stapler/stapler and staples

• Cutter/scissors for trimming the fabric
  

Setup & Covering – in brief

1. Assemble the frame : Assemble the strips flat and at right angles.

2. Apply fabric : Fix in the center with slight tension.

3. Staple : Attach opposite sides alternately from the center outwards – this keeps the tension even.

4. Seal edges : Cover staples and frame edges with tape or glue, mask off the printing area.

Why A3+?

The slightly larger usable area facilitates registers, tape edges and test prints without restricting the design – perfect for small series, poster prints and textile designs in a compact format.
