Buying guide for screen printing inks: Which screen printing ink should you buy?

Screen printing on textiles
If you want to print on textiles, our water-based textile inks are the best choice. With our cold fixative additive, the inks can air dry after printing, making them wash-resistant.

Screen printing on paper & cardboard
If you want to print on paper, you're better off using our "PaperStar" ink. While you can print on paper with our textile ink, the drying retarder will make it sticky if it's not heat-set. For paper, cardboard, photo paper, and other paper types, it's best to use the ink specifically formulated for paper. It dries quickly and isn't sticky.

Dipilu screen printing inks are designed to ensure long screen openness, unlike many other inks. This means the ink won't dry out in the fine pores of the screen and block the mesh through which the ink is supposed to print. This is an extremely common problem in screen printing, occurring during long printing sessions or breaks. But not with our screen printing inks. You'll see how long you can work with this ink without any loss of quality.

Furthermore, our colors can be easily washed out of the screen with the accompanying solvent-free organic color remover , so you can actually use your screen printing frame more often.

Even if the paint dries in the sieve, you can remove it quickly and easily, even if it has been dry for several days. This is not possible with standard acrylic paints, for example.
