Dipilu Paperstar transparent water-based binder / screen printing ink for paper and cardboard

Color and special features: Transparent binder /color base for creating your own colors with DIPILU liquid color pigments . Optimal gloss on white surfaces. For best results, use coated paper (non-absorbent). This ensures that the paper does not warp after printing with water-based ink.

In short

• Finish: matte

• Odor: very faint

• Coverage: medium to high (depending on the fabric)

• Handling: runs stably, prints sharply, easy to clean

• Drying: Dries quickly.

Application

1) Mixing

• Dilute to 5–10% by weight with thinner .

• If necessary, add 5–7% drying retarder (first retarder, then thinner).

2) Sieve selection

• Recommended: 64T–120T for paper/cardboard/wood.

• Neon colors: 80T is preferable for better coverage.

3) Print

• Squeegee: 70-75 Shore, consistent angle, moderate pressure.

• Always leave plenty of ink in the sieve and flood it back after each pass so that nothing dries out in the design.

• Remove dried-on fine areas with a squeegee, then briefly clean the motif surface with a damp cloth.

4) Drying

• Room air: approx. 15 min.

• Tunnel dryer: max. 50 °C .

• It dries through water evaporation. Layer thickness and additives affect the drying time.

Cleaning & Stencil

• Clean immediately after printing with bio ink remover for water-based inks or a mild solvent.

• Dried paint is difficult to remove.

• Photo emulsion: water and solvent resistant, recommended if occasionally cleaned with solvents.

Range & Processing

• Coverage: approx. 40–50 m²/L (depending on color and fabric).

• Mixable: all colors can be freely combined.

• Overprinting: generally possible; print metallics (gold/silver) last (adhesion/gloss).

• An optional glossy finish can be printed on afterwards.

Storage & Shelf Life

• 12 months in the sealed original container.

• Store in a cool, dry place below 30°C .

• Do not return the paint from the sieve to the original container, but store it separately.

Security

• Free from heavy metals .

• Complies with EN 71-3 (Toy Safety).
