The 5 Blades at a Glance

Each blade is designed for a specific application:

• Small U-Gouge: For narrow cut-outs and soft curves
• Medium U-Gouge (3 mm): For uniform lines and medium-sized areas
• Large U-Gouge (4.5 mm): For quickly removing larger areas

Handling and Tips

The blades are simply inserted into the wooden handle and can be changed quickly - with the included auxiliary tool, this is safe and without direct contact with the cutting edge. The handle, with its 8.8 cm length and 2.5 cm width, fits comfortably in the hand - even during longer work sessions. The total length with an inserted blade is approx. 12.8 cm, which allows for good control when carving. When carving, always work away from yourself to avoid injuries. For beginners, it is recommended to practice with the large U-gouge first before switching to the finer blades.
