Why you need him

After emulsion removal, shadows sometimes remain in the screen – especially with inks that slightly stain the screen (e.g., water-based/acrylic systems). These discolorations are usually not critical, but can interfere with the next exposure and impair fine details. The ghost image remover selectively removes precisely these residues from the screen.

Application

1. First, completely remove the coating from the sieve (all emulsion residue must be removed).
2. Apply ghost image remover to a sponge and generously apply it to both sides of the dry or slightly damp screen fabric.
3. Leave on for 1 to 2 minutes (do not let dry).
4. Remove residue with a sponge and then rinse thoroughly with water . If necessary, rinse with a pressure washer.
5. Check the result; if necessary, repeat the process on stubborn areas.

Tips

• Remove large amounts of paint residue mechanically beforehand – this speeds up the process.
• For very strong ghost images, slightly extend the application time, but avoid letting it dry out.
• After cleaning, rinse the sieve with a neutral solution, allow it to dry, and then recoat it.

Important instructions

• Not an emulsion remover: Does not affect emulsion residues.
• Test compatibility on an inconspicuous area of ​​unknown tissues/emulsions.
